Rare Disease Day. 🌍
Living with a rare disease is not something you choose … but it becomes part of your story.
Rare diseases affect 1 in 2,000 people.
I am one of those 1 in 2,000.
Many rare conditions are not recognised early. They are often misdiagnosed, misunderstood, or dismissed. And behind every diagnosis is a person navigating uncertainty, pain, and questions that don’t always have easy answers.
Living with a rare disease can mean:
* Fighting to be heard
* Explaining your condition over and over
* Facing challenges others may never see
* Carrying strength you didn’t know you had
Today we build awareness.
Today we honour resilience.
Today we stand for those still searching for answers.
You are not invisible.
You are not alone.
What is your rare disease? Or do you know someone who is part of the 1 in 2,000?
Let’s create awareness together.
