Holding your breath while waiting for the result of a pregnancy test.
Holding your breath while waiting for your doctor to call with answers.
Holding your breath while wondering if you'll ever hear the words you've been dreaming of.
Infertility is more than appointments, blood tests, procedures, and waiting rooms. It is the silent heartbreak that so many carry behind closed doors.
It is looking for someone to blame.
It is blaming yourself.
It is feeling guilty.
It is feeling angry.
It is feeling brokenhearted.
It is feeling exhausted.
It is feeling like giving up.
And if you've felt any of those things, please know that your feelings are valid.
The journey through infertility can be lonely, painful, and incredibly unfair. It can test your faith, your relationships, your strength, and your hope. Some days you feel strong enough to keep fighting. Other days, simply getting out of bed feels like a victory.
This month, I want to acknowledge every person and every family walking this road.
To the ones waiting.
To the ones grieving.
To the ones hoping.
To the ones who have faced disappointment after disappointment and still find the courage to keep going.
I see you.
Your pain matters.
Your story matters.
And no matter where you are in your journey, you are not alone.
This June, let's bring awareness to infertility, break the silence surrounding it, and hold space for those carrying this invisible grief.
With love,
Forever Hope.
